Reporting Bugs

Please file a bug at bugzilla.kernel.org (clicking this link should fill in the correct bug template), using the "Other" product, and under the "module-init-tools" component thereof. In your bug report, include the following
  • The specific version of module-init-tools ("modprobe --version" or git commit)
  • Steps to reproduce the problem
  • Other pertinent information about your system/distribution.
Patches to bugs are most welcome, but a detailed bug report is at least helpful. If you have a vendor bug link, please attach it to a kernel.org bugzilla and share the link with the mailing list as appropriate.
